Aphena Expands Manufacturing of Nasal Inhalers at Easton, Maryland, Facility

Expansion includes DEA licensing and robotic assembly capabilities

TREVOSE, Pennsylvania — Aphena Pharma Solutions — a leading U.S. manufacturer of nasal stick inhalers utilizing different active ingredients, from DEA controlled substances to natural-based products — is proud to announce that it is greatly expanding its capacity to produce these inhalers at its Easton, Maryland, facility.

The expansion effectively doubles Aphena's capacity in its proprietary technology for this nasal drug delivery system, allowing the company to meet market demand for both branded and private-label decongestant product as well as new applications requiring this versatile technology.

Aphena has also added DEA licensing for controlled substances at the site and will employ state-of-the-art robotics.
