COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Aphena Pharma Solutions is pleased to announce the addition of Sean Mohr to its expanding Business Development team. With more than 20 years of experience across the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, Sean brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial drive, innovation and customer development expertise to the pharmaceutical packaging space.

Sean’s career spans a wide range of roles — from product inventor and founder to product broker, private label manufacturing specialist and investor — all centered on helping brands grow and scale efficiently. His work has included sourcing and supplying finished goods packaging across diverse sectors such as electronics, food and personal care, leveraging global supply chains to deliver quality, value and speed.

“My CPG background gives me a unique lens in the pharma market,” Sean explained. “I understand how to take products from concept to commercialization, balance cost with quality and develop creative solutions for complex challenges.”

At Aphena, Sean holds a dual role supporting both Aphena’s contract packaging and manufacturing division and its growing product brands portfolio, which includes Serica® Branded Skincare, EverClear® Inhalers and Private Label Chocolate Laxatives.

In his business development role for Aphena’s Easton, Maryland, facility, Sean focuses on expanding partnerships in non-solid dose manufacturing and packaging, helping customers with liquids, creams, gels, lotions and other specialty products.

“I’m thrilled to be part of a company that offers both scale and flexibility,” said Sean. “I get to bring Aphena’s brands to potentially millions of new customers while also helping identify nontraditional markets and high-growth opportunities for our contract services.”

He pointed to the growing opportunities in genetic-based medications, biologics and vaccines, where Aphena’s flexible manufacturing and packaging capabilities can play a key role.

Sean describes himself as a relationship-based salesperson whose goal is to understand his customers’ pain points and growth plans before offering solutions.

“In our industry, customers don’t just want a vendor — they want a strategic partner who understands their business,” Sean said. “My mission is to show that Aphena is a partner they can rely on for innovation, quality and long-term growth.”

With experience as a startup founder, investor and military veteran, Sean brings a grounded, adaptable and mission-focused mindset to his work.

"Behind every product we help package is a person relying on it to live better, and that’s incredibly motivating."
