Aphena Welcomes Knutson as VP of Engineering

Cookeville, TENNESSEE — Curt Knutson recently joined the Aphena executive team as vice president of engineering. In his new role with Aphena, Knutson will be overseeing the engineering operations at both of Aphena's facilities, which are located in Cookeville, Tennessee, and Easton, Maryland.

Knutson comes to Aphena from Nanocopoeia LLC, where, as director of engineering and operations, he optimized the design and manufacturing of a novel electro nano spray technology. Prior to that, he was vice president of engineering for Anderson Brecon, Pharmaceutical Division, Rockford, Illinois. He has also worked as a product development consultant for CKI Consulting since 2014. Knutson earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis.

With extensive experience, Six Sigma certification and vast knowledge of pharmaceutical engineering services, Knutson is proficient in managing teams in complex designs and multiple processes, from blending to packaging.
